The Golden Land Solidarity Collective is a non-profit organization based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, dedicated to supporting artisans from Myanmar and Thailand. Through their work, the organization fosters community empowerment, cross-cultural connection, and solidarity between artisans and customers.
Founded in 2006 as a spin-off from Sunflower Art Gallery, Sunflower Natural Dye Textiles partners with Myanmar Clothes Co. Ltd. to promote eco-friendly, handwoven textiles. Initially exporting silk from Inle to Japan, the brand embraced sustainable, natural dyes and gained recognition through Rakuten and JETRO exhibitions. With a studio in Shan State (2014) and a Yangon shop (2015), Sunflower continues to empower local weavers, preserve traditional heritage, and provide creative, market-relevant education for women through vocational schools across Myanmar
